On 27 March 2026, Louise Brown, Founding Director of Triple Capital, unpacked the state of adaptation finance in Namibia and emerging economies at the Namibia Sustainable Finance Alliance (NSFA) Curtain Raiser Dialogue on the theme “uniting industry efforts for a greener, more inclusive future”. The event, hosted by the Bank of Namibia and RMB Namibia, was the first in a series of dialogues of the recently established NSFA that aims to unite financial sector stakeholders around climate resilience and sustainable finance.

Louise highlighted the growing climate risks facing our economy, the strain on financial systems, and the urgent need to unlock greater private sector participation in adaptation investments. While adaptation finance remains underfunded and largely public-sector driven, she underscored clear opportunities for banks, insurers, national development finance institutions, pension funds, and regulators to collaborate, de-risk investments, and build a more resilient and inclusive future.
